I guess I shouldn't have stepped away... or maybe not used the chair to secure his leash in the first place. Dining room chair's don't belong all the way at the other end of the hallway! (And around a corner - I'm surprised I didn't hear that! Neither chair nor dog appear to have been harmed. Physically, at least.
